All of us have dreams and desires, little secret fantasies that we hope to realize within our lifetime. However, many young people think they have plenty of time to see these dreams come true. Sadly, if you walked into any retirement home in Australia and asked its occupants if they had seized life and lived it to its fullest, many would admit that they had let it slowly slip away through one missed opportunity after another.
What is it that you really want to do? Is it travel, discovery, exploring history, seeing other lands and cultures? Is it wind-surfing, hang-gliding, rock climbing, skydiving, or catching a giant wave on your new surfboard? Do you need to visit a long-lost friend? Whatever it is, there is no reason to put it off. You never know what lies around the next corner, and one day you will realize that you’re either too old or too sick to do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
Of course, living life to its fullest does not mean that you are always going off on a grand adventure. It can also be taking advantage of some of the manifold opportunities that fall on each of us every day to enjoy our life and appreciate the world in which we live. It’s all too easy for us to become creatures of habit, to do the same things day in and day out, without ever stopping to think about what we are doing with our lives. Mix things up, even if it’s just taking another way home and discovering a new neighbourhood. Look at the things you enjoy and see where else they can take you. If you enjoy nature, why not invest in some hiking boots and go exploring? If you enjoy swimming, why not try surfing, snorkelling or scuba diving?
Sometimes you might think that “It would be wonderful to do this” or “I wish I could do that,” but you don’t have the cash on hand to buy the needed equipment or travel where you need to go. You might imagine that you’ll get around to doing that special thing some other time, but then you forget about it and it never ends up happening. At the end of the day, there’s no such thing as easy money, right?
Don’t let these opportunities pass you by again ? learn how to live within your means whilst living for the now. You will never have to miss another opportunity for want of a few hundred dollars. Prepare for a more exciting life and look into ways you can get a fast loan for a fraction of the detrimental cost large debts will leave you with.

Go play miniature golf. I’ll recommend two: the Putt-Putt on Route 4 (Dixie Highway) in Hamilton, and the Joe Nuxhall Golf Center in Joyce Park in Lindenwald.
Around here this time of year there is always a festival going on weekends. Check them out!
July 27-28: St Ann’s in Lindenwald (Pleasant Avenue)
August 3-5: St John in West Chester (Cincinnati-Dayton Road)
August 10-12: Sacred Heart in Fairfield (Nilles Road)
Come to the food booth at Sacred Heart’s festival and I’ll sell you a burger. I’ll be the one who’s had just a little too much beer
I also agree with the earlier answer about Miami University. If you want things to do – sporting events, concerts, lectures, exhibits, parties – Oxford’s campus is the place to go. It’s a little slow in the summertime, but come late August it will be buzzing once again.

There is also the King’s Island amusement park for a fun day out. It’s not too terribly far from Hamilton. It’s near Mason.

As Im sure you know, Hamilton kinda sux. There isnt a ton to do there. You can go to the Voice of America park in West Chester, its not too bad. There is Jungle Jims for a real Grocery Shopping experience on Rt. 4 in Fairfield for a real grocery shopping experience. You can go out to Pyramid Hill park. You can head to downtown Cincy and catch the Bengals (in a few months) or the Reds, hit the Cincy Zoo, go to Great Wolf, The Beach, or Kings Island in Mason, etc. Really to do much in the area, you’ll really need to head a bit outside of Hamil-tucky.

I live in Liberty Township, to the east of Hamil-tucky.

Best thing for you guys to do would be get a Cincinnati Enquirer on Friday. They have a big "Weekend" pull-out that has all kinds of goings on for the weekend. I’m in Lindenwald, I realize there’s not much to do in the immediate area. Come to Taste of Colerain in a couple weeks, ask for Uncle Jeff at the Big Art’s booth, we’ll fix you 2 up with the best BBQ you ever had.

Fun is interpreted differently by different people.I personally like Hamilton. You can play pool at Micheal’s on Boymel in
Fairfield which is next door to Hamilton. You can fish the
Great Miami River where you can catch a multitude of various fish. Do not forget the Sculpture Park up on 128.
You can go to the airport and take flying lessons.Of course
there is the county fair coming up soon. If you have never
been to a drag strip Tri State Drag Strip would be blast. You can drive out to Hueston Woods for a fun day on the lake or
just a pic nic by the lake.Even a nice hike in the woods and
who knows what.So do not let anyone tell you there is nothing
to do in Hamilton. You may have to think but there is plenty to
do if you just think about it.
I have posted a few links below check them out.

Take a few minutes to roll down into Cincinnati. There’s lots to do there. You can take it even further and go to Newport, Ky…Newport on the Levee, food, fun, games, movies, river setting, etc… Maybe do the same stuff, but in a different place,,,like going to the Dayton Mall, (about 30min. away) for dinner and a movie. Try Coney Island on the southeast side of Cincinnati (near the river), amusement rides and lots of water fun. Try Kings Island, pricey but fun. Hope this helps,, HAVE FUN
